Achillea ‘Moonshine’ is a stunning, compact, and bushy, clump-forming herbaceous perennial. It has green ferny, divided leaves which are pleasantly aromatic. It produces clusters of light yellow flowers, in profusion in early summer lasting right through until early autumn. The bright flower colour makes it very attractive to butterflies. ‘Moonshine’ is suitable for herbaceous beds and borders, as its attractive colour will brighten up anywhere in the garden. It is also very suitable for meadows, cottage gardens, and as a cut flower. It can reach a maximum mature height of 60 cm and spread of 50 cm. This variety has won the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (RHS AGM).
Suggested care: Achillea ‘Moonshine’ is suitable for well-drained soils positioned in full sun and an open position. It is undoubtedly an easy plant to care for as it is drought, heat, and humidity tolerant! Deadheading faded blooms should encourage more buds to form over a long season. Avoid over-watering.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in ‘up side down’ position. Do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
