Aubrieta, also known as 'Rock Cress' are mat-forming evergreen perennials, with small leaves and short stems bearing 4-petalled flowers in shades of pink, purple and blue in spring.
Low growing and evergreen. Flowers of various colours in Spring including yellow, white, pink, purple, red, etc. Some are even bi-coloured and often fragrant. Height 10cm.
Pretty and compact rosettes of foliage topped in a carpet of dainty little flowers in shades of pink in April-May. A great plant for the rock garden. Good groundcover. Height 15 cm.
Mossy Saxifraga. Cup-shaped purple flowers on thin stems in May-June. Height 15 cm. Suitable for planting in cracks or as a groundcover in front of an alpine border. Plant in moist, well-drained soil.
