Fargesia angustissima

Non invasive bamboo. Upright habit, narrow canes that holds slender arrow shaped delicate green leaves. Grow to 4 metres. It can be grown in a container but water regular. Plant in moist well drained soil in partial shade.

Hardy bamboo which comes from the mountain forests of China. A clumping variety. Dark green dense foliage which arches over gracefully at the top. Ideal for hedge. Height 2 metres  

Fargesia jiuzhaigou

Height up to 3 metres. This medium size bamboo has finer foliage that the species and usually forms a smaller, bushier plant. The delicate leaves hang from the slender red culms in thick green cascades making this an excellent plant for hedge o screen in a semi-shaded position.
