Lawn Chamomile or Creeping Chamomile Nice fragrance when being walked on. Sunny position, free draining soil. Lawn creeping chamomile or creeping chamomile is a low-growing non-flowering form that makes an excellent ground cover. Fairly tolerant of being walked on and gives off a lovely aroma. It is sometimes used instead of grass for making a lawn and can reach a maximum height of 10cm.

Leaves and flowers are dried for pot-pourri. Also used as tea. Promotes sound sleep and helps digestion. Sunny position and free draining soil.

Mint Creeping Corsican mint

Evergreen, carpet forming perennial. Minty smell when walked over. Sun or partial shade, moist soil. Height 1 cm

Height 10 cm, Luscious green foliage, reddish brown on reverse of foliage. Vigorous growth. Suitable for hanging baskets.

Mint Moroccan

Dark foliage. Can be used same as spearmint in mint-sauce, with peas and potatoes. Height 60 cm, good flavour and scent.

Pennyroyal

Bright green leaves, very strong peppermint scent. Mauve flowers in late spring. Medicinal use. Used in earlier times to flavour puddings and sauces.
