Alchemilla mollis ‘Thriller’ is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with soft green, lightly-felted, rounded leaves. In early summer, spreading sprays of small yellow flowers appear in abundance, and last up until early Autumn. Water droplets bead up and sparkle like diamonds on the foliage for hours. It is perfect for planting in beds/borders, flower arranging, under-planting and in cottage gardens. It can reach a maximum mature height and spread of 50 cm. ‘Thriller’ is a great plant to brighten up an area with its eye-catching foliage.
Suggested Care: Alchemilla mollis ‘Thriller’ should be planted in moist but well-drained soils, positioned in a sunny position but can withstand partial shade. Once the flowers begin to die off, you should cut them back to encourage new growth and foliage. If self-seeding is undesired, you should cut back the flowering stems once the flowers had become discoloured.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in ‘up side down’ position. Do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
