Dicentra spectabilis ‘Alba’, or white bleeding heart, is a perennial plant noted for its heart-shaped white flowers that bloom in spring and early summer.  It grows to 100cm and with a 80cm spread, it features delicate fern-like blue-green leaves.

This plant prefers partial to full shade and thrives in well-drained, moist, organic soil. It needs regular watering, a balanced fertilizer in spring, and pruning after flowering to maintain health.
