Aubrieta, also known as 'Rock Cress' are mat-forming evergreen perennials, with small leaves and short stems bearing 4-petalled flowers in shades of pink, purple and blue in spring.
A well known plant from olden days. Ideally put at the back of a border, where its dark blue flower spikes with their white centres will be spectacular. Needs some support. Height 150 cm. Spread 60 cm.
The true blue flowers combine well with its dark purple foliage in summer. Good for cottage style garden, container or border. Disease resistant plant. Height 30 cm. Spread 25 cm.
