Crested Scaly Male Fern. An evergreen easy to grow fern. Forms a rosette of erect, arching, crested fronds that open golden-green when young and turn bright green as they mature. Height 100 cm, spread 90 cm.
The large heart-shaped leaves are blue-green at the centre with golden-green margins. Off-white flowers in middle to late summer. Height 70 cm. Spread 100 cm.
Anemone Blanda is commonly known as 'Windflower' because the flowerheads turn away from the wind. It is the perfect spring plant as it naturalizes easily and also multiplies for years and years to come.
