Campanula glom Caroline

Campanula-glom-‘Caroline’ is a cultivar of the Campanula glom species, commonly known as clustered bellflower. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that belongs to the Campanulaceae family. ‘Caroline’ is characterized by its compact growth habit, reaching a height of approximately 50 cm and a spread of about 40 cm.

The flowers of Campanula glom ‘Caroline’ are vibrant violet-blue in colour and are held in dense clusters at the top of sturdy stems. They bloom from late spring to early summer, attracting bees and other pollinators. The flowers have a bell-like shape, which is characteristic of the genus Campanula.

‘Caroline’ is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. It is also tolerant of a wide range of soil types, including clay and sandy soils. Regular watering is required. Deadheading spent flowers can help prolong the blooming period.
