Description

Echinacea purp. Fatal Attraction has vivid pink flowers with a double row of petals. Flowers stand upright on stems which are almost black, contrasting well with the green foliage. Height 45cm.

Echinacea purp. ‘Fatal Attraction’ is a popular cultivar of the coneflower, celebrated for its striking deep purple flowers and prominent centre cone. It typically grows 45cm tall and blooms from mid-summer to early autumn. This plant thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade and prefers well-drained sandy or loamy soils.

Once established, it is drought-tolerant but needs watering during dry spells.  Echinacea purp. ‘Fatal Attraction’ serves ornamental purposes in gardens, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Care includes deadheading spent flowers to promote additional blooms and dividing the plants every few years for optimal growth.
