Hosta ‘First Frost’
Hosta are grown for the wonderful foliage. ‘First Frost’ a dense mound of broad, blue-green, heart-shaped leaves with variegated margins. When new leaves emerge in Spring they are edged with golden yellow which matures to bright white. Excellent ground-cover in shaded area! Pale lavender flowers in late Summer. Garden plant for flowerbed in moist fertile soil in full or partial shade. Excellent choice for the shade garden, moist woodland garden, good for under-planting, and ground-cover. Height and spread (approx) – 40cm x 90cm.
