Astrantia are beautiful, clump-forming perennials with attractive glossy foliage. The produce stunning flowers which are surrounded by showy bracts which often provide a splash of colour. Astrantia is also known as 'Hattie's Pincushion' or 'Masterwort'.
Variegated light green & cream foliage forms a low mound. Tall wirey stems topped by purple-red pincushion flowers throughout Summer and into Autumn. Attracts butterflies. Likes a well drained sunny spot. Height 45cm. Spread 50cm.
Lambs Tongue Evergreen, mat-forming. Woolly grey foliage, excellent for ground-cover or front of border. Pink flowers from June-August. Height 40 cm. Sunny position.
Artemisia can be shrubs, perennial or annuals- evergreen or deciduous. They usually have grey, aromatic, divided foliage with insignificant flowerheads.
