Calamagrostis arundinacea
Upright and clump forming, tufted grass. Forms a mound of arching narrow grey-green leaves. Fluffy, arching pink tinged flower plumes in late Summer and Autumn fade to a silvery-grey. Makes an attractive dried flower. Garden plant for flowerbed in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Good in beds and borders. Excellent for mass planting but also good as a specimen or in large containers. Approximate height and spread- 100cm x 70cm.

Feather Reed Grass. Garden plant for the flowerbed in moist to wet fertile soil in full sun. A grass that accompanies low growing perennials very well. An attractive upright grass with dark green leaves. Soft feathery green plumes in Summer mature to stiff pale brown spikes lasting to late Autumn. Height 150 cm, spread 70 cm.

Perovskia atriplicifolia ‘Blue Steel’
Deeply divided, aromatic silvery foliage with a bushy habit. Strong silver stems carry large panicles of small violet-blue flowers appearing in sprays. Provides wonderful colour and fragrance in the late Summer and Autumn garden. Highly attractive to bees and pollinators. Garden plant for flowerbed in well-drained soil in full sun.
