Heavily white-spotted ovate leaves, with leafy stems bearing clusters of pure white flowers opening from pink buds. Height 30cm.

Mossy. Height 20 cm. Flowers appear in April and May and have blood-red petals, that do not fade when dying.

Asarum are commonly known as wild gingers, they are not culinary however, they do give off a ginger aroma. They are a perfect addition to the garden.
