Alstroemeria Colorita® Claressa is a stunning compact, clump-forming perennial featuring lush green leaves beautifully edged with creamy-white variegation. Its pure white, funnel-shaped flowers bloom continuously from May to October, creating a fresh, elegant display throughout the summer months.
Growing to a height and spread of around 30 cm, Claressa is ideal for containers, patio pots, or the front of sunny borders. The long-lasting blooms are also excellent for cut flower arrangements, adding a touch of sophistication indoors. Easy to grow and low maintenance, this variety brings both foliage interest and graceful floral beauty to any garden setting.
Suggested Care: Alstroemeria Colorita® Claressa should be planted in moist, well-drained soils, positioned in a sunny position but can stand partial shade. Dormant tubers should be protected with a layer of mulch in cold weather conditions, when doing so, contact with the roots should be avoided. Once established these can be divided. When pruning, flower stems should be pulled rather than cut as this will cause damage to the plant.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in ‘up side down’ position. Do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
