Description

Description:
Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Indigo’ is a compact, dwarf perennial commonly known as the Peruvian Lily or Lily of the Incas. Growing to around 40 cm tall, it produces clusters of trumpet-shaped, deep indigo-purple flowers with subtle speckled markings. Flowering from Spring through Autumn, it delivers long-lasting blooms that attract bees and butterflies, adding rich colour and depth to borders, containers, and flower beds.

Its sturdy stems and compact growth habit make ‘Indigo’ ideal for cut flower arrangements, where its vibrant dark blooms provide an elegant, dramatic focal point. Hardy and low-maintenance, this variety tolerates a wide range of climates and thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade.

Suggested Care:

Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position. Deadhead spent flowers or cut back stems to encourage new growth. Firm soil after planting and water regularly during the first month. Avoid pulling the plant out of the pot when planting—tap the rim gently to release.

Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Indigo’ combines compact size, striking dark-purple flowers, and extended seasonal interest, making it a perfect choice for gardens, containers, and floral arrangements.
