Anthemis carpatica ‘Snow Carpet’ is a herbaceous perennial which forms a compact cushion of grey-green foliage, which short stems bear tiny white daisy-like flowers with yellow centres from May to July. Faded flowers should be removed to encourage a longer flowering period. It reaches a maximum height of 20 cm and spread of 30 cm. It is suitable for use in beds, borders, and containers. Attractive to pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
Suggested Care: Anthemis carpatica ‘Snow Carpet’ should be planted in moist but well-drained soil positioned in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Its foliage dies back in the winter- winter mulch is advised. ‘Snow Carpet’ is drought tolerant once established. This plant should be cut back once the flowering period is over, it should be cut lightly to encourage repeat flowering. This plant is perfect for a garden that would require low maintenance.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in āup side downā position. However, do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
