Armeria juniperifolia ‘Alba’ is a compact evergreen perennial alpine which forms a mat of needle-like, dark green leaves. From this, short stems which reach only 8 cm in height, bear compact and round rosettes of pure white flowers in spring and summer. This plant reached a maximum height of 8 cm and spread of 15 cm. It is a stunning plant which is suitable for use in rockery gardens, patio, containers, ground cover or in beds/borders. Additionally, ‘Alba’ is the perfect pollinator plant to add to your garden.
Suggested Care: Armeria juniperifolia ‘Alba’Ā should be planted in well-drained, loamy soils, positioned in full sun. For best growing conditions, grow in moderately fertile soils in an open situation. Additionally, faded flower stems should be removed to help the foliage flourish once the flowering period is over. This plant is quite hardy and can withstand severe temperatures of up to minus fifteen degrees celsius.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in āup side downā position. However, do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
