Arisaema Candidissimum is a stunning tuberous perennial which comes to life in late spring or early summer. Its highly elegant white flower striped pale pink are so eye-catching, they’re a must for the garden. The plant also omits a beautiful sweet fragrance which is quite long-lasting. Its foliage is composed of huge three-lobed leaves which usually appear after the flowers bloom and remain for the rest of the growing period. This plant has been awarded The RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM)
Suggested Care: Arisaema Candidissimum should be planted in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soils, positioned in full sun or can withstand partial shade. It must be protected from excessive winter wet as it prefers sandy loose soils. However, you must ensure the tubers do not dry out when dormant. This plant is virtually disease free, the only thing you may need to watch out for is slugs or vine weevil.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in ‘up side down’ position. However, do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
