Brunnera, commonly known as the Siberian Bugloss or “Looking Glass” plant, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Boraginaceae family.
Brunnera has large, bold, and heart-shaped leaves that can be green or variegated with silvery patterns. The foliage tends to provide a striking contrast in shaded gardens.
The small, bright blue flowers typically bloom in spring (April to May) and are produced in clusters. Each flower has a yellow center, adding to its charm.
Brunnera is a spreading plant that can form dense clumps. It grows to a height of about 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) and can spread 24 to 36 inches (60 to 90 cm) wide
