Echinops bannaticus ‘Blue Globe’ Thistle, is a perennial plant in the Asteraceae family, typically growing 100cm tall.

It features spiny, lanceolate leaves and produces striking spherical blue flower heads that bloom in mid to late summer. This plant thrives in well-drained, rocky soils and full sun, making it popular for ornamental gardens and as a pollinator attractant for bees and butterflies.

Echinops bannaticus is low-maintenance, and tolerates drought once established.
