Spiderwort. Perennial with white flowers, with blue powder-puff centers from June-September. Petals curl inward like cupped hands. Height 60 cm. Plant in moist but well drained soil.
Fragrant violet-blue flowers from June-August. Silver variegated foliage. Semi-evergreen. Height 40 cm. Plant in a sunny position in free-draining soil.
This tall plant with its stiff stems provides useful height at the back of a border. The bright lavender purple flat flower clusters appear from June till the first frosts. Height 150 cm. Spread 60 cm.
Compact dwarf Verbena with small clusters of lavender flowers throughout Summer. Suitable for front of border. Good cut flowers and attracts butterflies. Height 60 cm.
