“Dianthus Whatfield Can Can” is a vibrant cultivar known for its frilled double pink flowers and pleasant fragrance. To care for it effectively, ensure it receives full sun (at least 6 hours daily), thrives in well-drained sandy or loamy soil, and is watered regularly while allowing the soil to dry between sessions.
Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer during the growing season, and deadhead spent blooms to encourage new growth. In colder climates, apply mulch for root insulation.
