Bronze Fennel
Herbaceous perennial that grows upto 180 cm. Plant in herb garden or in border in fertile, moist but well drained soil in full sun.
Fresh aniseed-flavoured seeds and leaves. Leaves are used with oily fish, seafood, and salad dressing. Seeds flavour breads, curries, apple pie and fish sauce. Sprouted seed are used as a salad herb.
Purple foliage. A tonic for the nervous system. Height 180 cm.

A wonderful perennial that will bring sparkle and interest to shady areas. Forms a spreading clump of silver heart-shaped leaves, frosty in appearance. The large leaves carry striking dark green veining. Clusters of small, dainty looking, baby blue 'forget-me-not' flowers in Spring. Attracts pollinators. Calamagrostis arundinacea
Upright and clump forming, tufted grass. Forms a mound of arching narrow grey-green leaves. Fluffy, arching pink tinged flower plumes in late Summer and Autumn fade to a silvery-grey. Makes an attractive dried flower. Garden plant for flowerbed in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Good in beds and borders. Excellent for mass planting but also good as a specimen or in large containers. Approximate height and spread- 100cm x 70cm.
